About the Trust

It was set up in 2010 as part of his personal philanthropy by philanthropist and Padma Vibhushan awardee, Mr. A.M. Naik, Chairman Emeritus, Larsen & Toubro, and his family. It is named after Mr. Naik’s granddaughter who passed away at the age of 2 due to cancer. Mr. Naik maintains his role as the Chairman of L&T Employees Trust, LTIMindtree, Larsen & Toubro Technology Services, and he also serves as the Honorary Consul General of Denmark. The Trust’s initiatives in Mumbai and in South Gujarat are helping to extend a lifeline of hope to those in need. In addition to the Healthcare Campus in Navsari, the Trust’s record of service includes a radiation centre in Surat, a multi-speciality healthcare facility in Mumbai, and a wide spectrum of medical assistance to communities in south Gujarat.

Nirali Memorial Medical Trust is established as a Public Charitable Trust with the objective of serving the community through accessible and affordable healthcare services. The Trust implements various government health schemes to benefit the public, operates a discounted pharmacy to reduce the financial burden on patients, and actively supports underserved populations. In addition, Nirali Memorial Medical Trust runs a free cancer screening van for poor and needy people in association with Kotak, promoting early detection and timely care. In recognition of its dedicated service to the poor and marginalized sections of society, the Trust has also received an Appreciation Certificate from the Government of India for its commendable contribution to public welfare.
